1. Installation and use


Before the pneumatic ball valve is installed and used, the valve must be inspected and tested for switching operation. It can only be installed and used under normal operating conditions.


The installation of the pneumatic ball valve should be as far as possible so that the valve and the pipeline flange are concentric, and supported and fixed. The ball valve cannot be subjected to other external forces, so as not to damage the sealant of the valve and deform the valve. To ensure that the power source provided by the pneumatic ball valve and pneumatic components must be clean, free from oil and water as much as possible. Cleanliness should be less than 0.4 meters.


Before connecting to the air source, the air supply pipeline, air source interface, switch and other devices must be cleaned to prevent malfunctions caused by the dirt, sediment, etc. on the pipeline rushing into the pneumatic actuator.


Connection of pneumatic actuators, solenoid valves, positioners, filter regulators, etc. Copper pipe or PU pipe can be used, and the exhaust port of the solenoid valve should be equipped with a muffler or a throttle muffler.


After installing the valve, test the pneumatic ball valve, pressurize the pneumatic actuator to the rated value, the pressure level is 0.4-0.4Mpa, conduct the switching test of the pneumatic ball valve, and observe the opening and closing of the valve. It should rotate flexibly without jamming. If there is crawling phenomenon, the air source pressure can be appropriately increased. Repeated switching can make the valve switch flexible.


When installing and debugging the switch-type pneumatic ball valve, first use the manual device for debugging (there is a manual button on the solenoid valve), and then power on and debug after the operation is normal.


The pneumatic ball valve should be regularly maintained and maintained at the rotating part of the valve stem, and lubricating oil should be added once every three months. Regularly waterproof and drain the air filter. Under normal circumstances, it should be checked once every six months and overhauled once a year.

2. Maintenance and repair


(1) Maintenance


① Always check the pipes for rust, welding slag, dirt and dust.


② Always check the support, the support frame with large dead weight and vibration occasions.


③ The air source must not be faulty.


④ The gasket at the connection between the valve body and the upper bonnet has been used for a long time, and it should be replaced in time. When replacing, just remove the upper bonnet to place a new gasket;


⑤ If the stuffing box leaks, replace the packing in time. When replacing, disengage the valve stem, remove the pressure plate and packing gland, and then install new packing;


⑥ Regular maintenance;


⑦When parked for a long time, the protective cover of the connecting flange should be installed, so the interface should be blocked with plastic plug. When parked, ensure the vertical or horizontal position of the valve as a whole;


⑧ Do not support the valve on sensitive parts, such as valve positioners, joints, connecting lines, etc.


(2) Maintenance


When the regulating valve cannot meet the operating requirements in use, or when it is regularly inspected to prevent accidents after a long period of operation, it must be carefully maintained. Maintenance work usually has the following main contents:


①Valve cleaning - To overhaul the valve disassembled from the process pipeline, all parts immersed in the process medium on it must be cleaned. In order to avoid the loss of some corrosive or other harmful fluids to people and equipment. At the same time, the rust on the exposed surface of the parts should be removed.


②Removal of valve - in order to check all parts to determine the scope of repair and replacement. First, the actuator and valve should be completely disassembled. When disassembling, it is necessary to protect the precision machined parts such as valve core, valve seat, valve stem, push rod, shaft sleeve, etc. and the precision machined surface of all parts to prevent damage, so as to minimize the maintenance cost, and special tools should be used to disassemble the valve seat. .


③Maintenance of main parts - if there is small rust and wear on the throttle surface of the valve core and the sealing surface of the valve core and valve seat. It can still be repaired by general machining and grinding methods. If the damage is severe, new parts must be replaced. When repairing, it is required to ensure the coaxiality of the valve core and the valve seat.


Damaged stem sealing surfaces should only be replaced with new parts.


Damage to the guide and sealing surfaces of the push rod. New parts must be replaced for the reaction actuator. For the positive-acting actuator, it can still be properly repaired.


When the compression spring is repaired, defects such as cracks that affect the strength are found. must be replaced with a new one.


④Replacement of wearing parts - the wearing parts of this control valve are mainly: packing, O-ring, gasket, diaphragm and other parts.


The disassembled packings, O-rings and gaskets shall be replaced with new ones during each overhaul. After the diaphragm is removed, it is necessary to check whether there are any cracks, signs of aging and wear that indicate possible rupture, and then decide to replace and replace it according to the specific situation. no. Generally at most 2 to 3 years must be replaced.


⑤ Assembly and commissioning—Appropriate grease should be applied to the positioning parts, guide parts, and threaded connection parts of the components during assembly, so as to facilitate the next maintenance and disassembly. Moreover, special attention should be paid to the coaxiality of the push rod, valve core components and valve seat in the whole machine.
